Morning all, a right dark dank drizzly day here this morning.

The Win 10 update on this hard drive I press ganged into service yesterday because the old hard drive went belly up took just over five hours to complete for heavens sake

I have a split partition on this drive with Linux mint, I updated the old Mint OS to the new OS and it only took twenty minutes from start to finish.

Safe journey home Bob.

I'm just about in the land of the living again. This is the first Christmas I have ever had where weight loss was part of it

I have lost over 6lbs since Boxing day......wouldn't recommend it as a diet though!
Thankfully the diarrhoea and sickness has stopped and I can now keep stuff down. I'm only eating bland food at the moment, chicken and rice etc.

Will be interesting to see if I can keep the weight off and lose a little more. Kind of an enforced New Years Resolution

Blimey! I didn't know the food poisoning thing was that bad Jeff, Get well soon Sir.
If that was the good lady losing that weight it would cost a fortune in new outfits

Just nipped down to the local ASDA to get a few odds & s0ds and no Bury black pudding on the shelves

Corned beef hash on the go for tea today.

Speaking from experience when its bad, its bad! We had a holiday in France, last evening in Paris I ordered beef tartare and was presented with what looked like a raw beefburger with a raw egg on top . . . . oh well, when in Rome. We flew down to Lourdes the following morning, walking around Lourdes I didn't feel right and spent two days in the hotel room! Didn't dare get any further than sprinting distance from the bog. Only ventured out after my other half went out, found a chemist and I loaded up with Loperamide.
