Thumbs up Boot access panel mod for rear lamp access

Recently I raised the question as to the feasibility of modifying the boot liners of later Rover 75's to fit the now missing access panels for the rear lamps.
Without them it meant or does mean a major strip of the boot just to replace one bulb...a daunting task if loaded with luggage on a French motorway (they are very keen on GB motorists with lamps out!!)
The general consensus of opinion was that it was a worthwhile mod .
Late Rover 75 panels are etched to show cut outs required ,so that all that was required was some cutting and then the availability of two Rover access panels to fit ....to go!!!
Well that was the case, the cutting was no problem, but obtaining panels at a "reasonable price " was a different matter....one supplier often mentioned on this site required £41 plus vat for each panel.....OUCH!
To cut a long story short ,SMC salvage provided two as new panels plus postage for just £12....so you know where to go......
