If i were you i'd hard wire the lead for a phone charger or tom tom instead of having the socket sticking out of the ciggie lighter. Makes it less for nosey low lifes to see if there's anything in the car.

Anyone remember the Citroen test drive on Top Gear when Clarkson discovered a seat vibrating feature to warn you when you strayed over white lane lines? ....we'll how about building one of those vibrators under the passenger seat, then using the spare switch to activate it and give the missus a nice surprise !
