Apparently it annoyed him greatly that more people seem to recall him from Porridge than anything else. He was only in three episodes! I always thought there were more. But then again that is a testament to his acting abilities really.

Just twigged who we are talking about, yes I vaguely remember him in Citizen Smith, but more so in Our Friends.

Robert Lyndsey played 'Wolfy' in Citizen Smith but Peter Vaughn's Mrs in the series played by Hilda Braid always called him 'Foxy' - always made me chuckle that
