Well had a respite from the snow this afternoon suns been out.
But now getting grey again with the odd snow flurry.

Much the same here Freddie.......not sure I'll be at work tomorrow as of yet.

Stansted and Braintree tomorrow for work but not sure if the weather doesn't improve

We've just had an hour of heavy snow, which is now being blown around into drifts by a strong Easterly wind.

However, not wanting to let my mate down, who is 60 today, we're off out into the country for a pub meal - complete, with warm blanket, snow shovel etc. in the boot.
Time to test my 4x4 capabilities - mate has a giant Isuzu D Max Utah - 160bhp and 360nm torque - should be able to pull me out of a snowdrift OK

Been a brief gap in snow showers so got the snow shovel out and cleared the path a bit. My father bought the snow shovel years ago, still had the plastic bag on the blade! Snow about 4" to 6" or 7" deep depending on drifting. May have been a pointless exercise, started snowing again.
