Default Speaker cable into the doors.....

Hi,

Anyone had any luck getting speaker cable into the doors via the rubber tube bits?
Just had a look at mine and it looks a little 'tricky'.....

Hopefully (pretty please) someone is going to show me how to do that at the nano meet this weekend I want to fit puddle lights.

We have found at the nano-meets that taking the door off is by far the easiest method. It's a lot easier than it looks but really needs two pairs of hands.

Seriously, after straining my fingers a few times trying to thread cables in situ, it really is so much quicker to take the doors off and you can easily access the conduit and connectors. Just two clips and each door lifts off. No re-alignment needed are anything like that.

I threaded the wire for my powerfolds through the rubber tubes.

Took 5 minutes once the door cards were off. A bit of stiff wire from a coat hanger pushed through and then used that to pull the wire through.

Very easy and Quick.

No need to take the doors off.

I did the rear doors just by popping of the rubber tube at both ends, very easy.
Then went to the front door, different story! Been raining ever since so haven't had a chance to do the front.
My daughter starts Uni tomorrow but I have until 2:30pm to get the fronts done so praying for a dry morning

I have some very stiff nylon wire so will try and poke that through. Did you start inside the door with the wire and poke it through the rubber into the car?

Thanks

Geoff
