Default please help find a thread

last year there was a thread ( a few in fact) about leaks around the rear of Tourers.
A member posted one with pictures that I now cant find and need help locating.

It was either a seam or the hinges I think that were leaking at the top rear of the opening. May even have been under the plastic cover at the top of the opening that runs between the two hinges but the plastic cover does have to be removed.

I cant recall if it was a seam or a hinge fixing that was leaking.

thank you

sorry not those two.
it could have been added to another thread.

I have removed the plastic trim that runs between the hinges, removed the inserts that hold that trim to the car. Cleaned and added some silicon to the inserts and pushed them back in. The do have "O" rings around them but a couple had snapped.

I've applied seam sealer to the seams above the tail gate opening and as best as I could applied silicon there the hinge fits to the roof.

As the trim that runs between the hinges is quite possibly a 1 time use item I dont want to fit the new one until I know the leak is solved.

I've also had the offside roof rail off and applied seam sealer to the seam underneath but that was not the problem.

Side trim strips are well known for water ingress.

thank you. One leak is from around the rear nearside window and the other is from the top area is I can see water coming down.
