What am I going to do to my ZTT today? Well I can categorically say b.u.g.g.e.r all! It's absolutely smashing it down with rain and my car is sat in a state if disassembly on the drive. Oh well, at least she's covered up while waiting for my attention.
Frustrating though, I just want to crack on.

Yesterday to be precise!
As the sump plug was stuck, I ordered a Laser vacuum oil extractor. I picked it up yesterday and put it straight to work and it is fantastic. The engine took the full 7 litres of oil to refill so it must have extracted most of the oil. Oil filter changed, together with the air and PCV filter. Also cleaned and rodded the N/S plenum, however it wasn't too bad. It had a replacement ECU because of flooding in this area back in 2009. Scrubbed the sandstone seats, which had gone a bit grey and now they are the correct colour again. |

Fixed my non-functioning drivers internal door handle.
Mercifully easy, as it had just unhooked itself somehow.

If you have put 7 litres back into the car then it is over filled as the CDTi only takes 6.8 litres of oil. I always like to refill with only 6.6 litres leaving it just below the high mark

For the first time in a long time I am awake enough and have the energy (night worker) to give the car a quick clean and check the oil/ water and happy to report fluid levels are ok. That's it for my day off now off for a nap lol.
