Fitted my CISBO reversing sensors to the Cowley V6. Easy to fit and works a treat. All the positions are pre-marked inside the bumper, so I just drilled a small pilot hole from the inside, prior to using the supplied hole cutter from the outside. A gentle clean up of the hole with some wet and dry strip, gently push the sensor home (wiggling from inside ) and pop the wiring through the large grommet for the towbar wiring. I taped them together at intervals and ran it to the offside rear lamp unit, tapping into the reverse light and earth wire. I ran the beeper wire to the underside of the parcel shelf and fixed the sounder there. The unit tucks neatly behind the trim panel. Shimples! The colour (silver) is a pretty good match too.

Tomorrow need to replace offside front brake pipe that'll be fun...
Managed to add a loop to the brake pipe end sticking out from the engine bay, once around and into the flexi - not sure what the mot man will say?
Shocks came today, still waiting for AR bar gaiters from dmgrs, but I have to admit, I should have ordered top mounts and springs - they are looking a bit grubby!
Still not found what could have been giving me the front shock rattles - what's the chances it all goes back together and it's still there?

Hi,after finding the seat belt pretensioner not connected to the bottom of the drivers seat connected it up then found my seatbelt would not rewind, found that the cable inside the door pillar had popped out of its home position in the seat belt guide.Previous owner had probably disconnected under the seat to get it to work rather than investigate further.Regards Ry.....

Have you undone the nut on the bottom of the drop link and then pushed the drop link up and down. Mine felt ok until I did that and that’s how I found out it was shot after 4000 mile/ 12.months.

Scrubbed the old lady's underside checked all around for signs of the dreaded rust - all good - so gave her an fresh coating of Bilt Hamber anti-corrosion treatment and pumped a another load into the cavities. Squeeky clean now for another year.
