Today I fitted an anchor for my sub, so there is no chance of it sliding around, I fitted a switch into the dash so I can turn it on and off remotely. I cleaned the car and is now awaiting detailing....

I changed the modification that I made to the bonnet release splitter box to make it a bit more substantial. The single cable should not pull through now, but it would be just my luck if a cable broke at the catches! After reading some of the posts about not being able to open the bonnet, I dread the day that it happens.

Default My longest trip since owning my 75 Diesel

Yesterday, (17/06/15) took my 75 Auto CDT Diesel on my longest trip (so far since I got it back in April) of 140 miles for a Site Visit at work (no pool cars Available!!!).

So much more comfortable than a Skoda Octavia!! and my 75 behaved impeccably!!!! temperature gauge never rose above 9 o clock position, did 140 miles on less than quarter of a tank too (have got a Bluespark tuning box fitted)

So really pleased with my first decent run since owning her.

Just now need to find out where my slight oil leak is coming from now!!! (changed PCV etc)!!!

Cheers

Maurice

Yesterday I finally got round to machine polishing my car. Got rid of a lot of swirl marks and scuffs. Today I topped it off with a coat of Collinite 476s wax.
