Default helppppp am i missing a trick??

Replacing the clutch master cylinder and everything was going just a little too well......
does anyone have a tip for getting the clutch pedal back on??
for some reason i cannot get it slide back on far enough to get the clip in, am i missing an angle or something? has anyone else had this problem?

ok answered my own question........
the whole bar had moved an inch to the right, one quick push back the left and amazing the pedal went right on



now to see if its actually cured the problem

Also, be careful with the clips. If you drop them behind the carpet they can disappear! The clip on the MC pushrod is also a different size to the one on the end of the pedal mounting rod.
