After a hard day's graft I chill out as soon as I get back in the car. It will take as long as it takes to get back home and there is no point in worrying about it.

As the old advert used to say Relax - it's a Rover.

My daily commute is 23 miles in total, which works out to 20-25 minutes to get there and about 45 minutes to get back during rush hour! I don't speed at all, but seem to get stuck at every light making me precariously late everyday (I do it within ten minutes to spare!)

My daily commute is 3 miles each way. Living so close to work I usually leave my car in the garage, working at a car dealership I use anything with fuel in it to commute with. Although sometimes I ride my bike on nice days.

A good bit of local knowledge there Bob!
Yes, that trip would be about 5 miles for me.
The problem is that I can see that being a real bottle neck because most of it is single track, with passing places.

I now have a cunning plan, is that I will keep my Volvo at work.
I will then walk the dog to work, using the footbridge and use the Volvo to pick up my son from school - drive back to work and then walk home, with the son and dog in toe.
My Rover will reside at home.

Only problem is, at the moment, the water meadows are flooded and the water is about 3 foot deep where the footbridge is.

My commute is varied to say the least.
Today it was 25miles each way to Chester and back.

Monday is London so that's 185 miles each way (with an 8hr working day in between)

I work in the city centre (the Royal Mile) which is a 3 mile commute from my house.
Mainly by bus, depending on which shift I'm on, but can take anything from 20-40mins depending on time of day!
However I will say it's a lovely walk home on a nice summers day as it's all down hill

Plus lots of fine drinking establishments for you to pop in as you walk

DONE: HAD A CRAZY IDEA THAT I HAD TO GET RID OF MY MG ZTT DUE TO NOT HAVING A DRIVE AND HAVING TO PARK ON A BUSY STREET WITH A VIEW TO GETTING ANOTHER ONE AT A LATER DATE WHEN I HAVE A DRIVE.

ENDED UP REALISING IT REALLY ISN'T PRACTICAL NOT HAVING A CAR TO GET AROUND AND I NOW OWN A VW EOS 3.2 V6 INDIVIDUAL (1 OF 20 REMAINING IN THE UK WITH THAT ENGINE AND TRIM COMBO) EVEN THOUGH I STILL LIVE ON A BUSY ROAD WITHOUT A DRIVE

I get really stressed out with my daily commute, I have to get up and go to the loo! At seven, the commute back to bed for another hour or so.
Have to make a decision to commute downstairs and make a cup of tea, shall I or shan't I go up and get a paper, really getting stressed at that thought, yes made up my mind and commute to the paper shop and I know pop into the cafe next door for a breakfast.

Now commuted back home and going to wash both cars, life can be so stressful sometimes. But it's got to be done.

Have a nice day you all!.

A Goblin Teasmade and an Edgar Allen under the bed should ease your stress levels then Reverend.
