160 miles on the space saver. Had a puncture on the M60 on Sunday. Quick change over in less than 5 minutes (including unloading and reloading teh load area). Drove home on the space saver on monday (A and B roads only).
Can't say it handled any differently on the way home. Of course, I didn't exceed the 50mph limit .

Just need to source a new hankook kinergy Eco to match the other 3 .

Fitted a new Lower Engine Mount to the Saloon.
I did not fit it, a very generous chap Steve (Steveo on here) did it for me.
Many thanks Steve.

Oil and filter change was the order of the day for me today. Didn't take too long. A couple of jobs found while doing the service, however, so I'll be ordering wishbone bushes asap. Front coolant pipes are next on the list.

Yesterday I finally got around to repairing my damaged door lock. It suffered from being frozen and me being a touch rough trying to get where I was going. Rather than simply thawing it out with a hairdryer or the like.

The damage was greater than I thought it would be. Luckily I bought a replacement handle + lock and the key barrel was fine.

All back together with plenty of grease and functioning perfectly. I may have to reset the outer door pull rod thingymabob though as it seems just a little less positive than it did.

Oh, and some new door card clips may be in order.

Renewed my insurance for the 75. £320 for me as a 23 year-old with plenty of no-claims struck me as very fair.
