Default Immobilizer motor problem

Please someone can help me...??
I change battery of my Rover 75 2.0 comfort Diesel...
Now...sometimes when I stop de motor,in gas station, for example, when I try to star on the car the immobilizer of the motor doesn't work...I have to stop and wait for no less than one hour...then...I put the key, step by step,slowly..and .Star engine normally.
I suppose that the key or central code are wrong...
I case of emergency..if I stop the car...then I have to wait for long time ( no less than 1 hour) to star and unlock the motor and star engine.
Please SORRY MY ENGLISH...I ' am from Spain and try to do my best
How to cancel the immobilizer of motor...? centralita here is really impossible to fix
I'm not have the key Code's
Please...someone can help me...?
My best regards

Unless you are certain it is an immobiliser issue it is probably worth checking that the starter motor solonoid isn't playing up.

If the starter tries/works then it isn't the immobiliser but something else like a camshaft sensor which will sometimes only work when cold. Freeze spray? Easiest to do an OBD check with any reader and check for fault codes. There's a free programme called Toaf which is very good - use the search bar for more information.

Good luck

Cam sensor being affected by the hot engine.--When it cools the engine will start.

This is an early sign of sensor failure.---

Not expensive and quite easy to fit.---All the information for fitting it is in the --------How-To-------section in the main forum page.

Default Camshaft Position Sensor.

This is indicative of a failing camshaft sensor. Replace it now.

Initially, when failing the sensor will work when cold, but ceases to pass the camshafts position information to the engine control module when hot.

I keep a spare in the boot – just in case. When a few hours drive from home (and no replacement was available), a friend placed the removed camshaft sensor in a refrigerator to cool it, then when refitted his car started.

My understanding is that this sensor is only required when starting the engine - to pass position details to the EMS to enable the spark plugs to fire in their correct instance.

True enough for the KV6, but the K4 uses a wasted spark and the diesels of course don't have spark plugs so for these engines the camshaft sensor provides the initial reference to the ECM for the fuel injection.

Thanks Mike for the correction. I thought we were referring to a V6.
Best I refrain.

For those who don't know what a ---Wasted Spark is---the spark happens on both inlet and exhaust strokes.--( It fires twice as often as is really needed. ----ie. Wasted. )
