Default Fascinating discovery about HARTLEPOOL.

Well you learn something new everyday , i,m watching FLOG IT on tv and it,s from HARTLEPOOL .
Turns out the german navy bombarded hartlepool in the first world war killing 114 people .
It was kept from the nation for weeks so as not to cause panic .
Very interesting slot on the show showing the gun enplacements and a scale re-enactment of events .:

And you can still visit the Heugh Battery, & the plaque where the first person killed in WW1 was.Even the gaps left by the bombardment to the terraced houses.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

Quite right Harry, after the Blucher & other ships bombarded Hartlepool, they moved down the coast, shelling what they thought, were strategic targets.Killed a lot of civilians.
