Always liked Morecome and Wise on the telly until we went to see them live and they were just rubbish on stage.
It's strange how a different medium suits some performers and not others. Des O'Connor, IMHO, rubbish on the box but brilliant on stage and the same for Ken Dodd, who has to be the best live performer I have ever seen. |
