A certain company who offers insurance to the over 50 sent me a letter telling me that I would not get a better quote. You guess the quote was double the price of my renewal, so I rang them to compare the quality of the quote, it didn't even include a courtesy car. The lady said sometimes the quotes are not what they should be.

So you could say their quote wasn't as keen as mustard then?

This March I got a renewal quote from LV (Liverpool Victoria) it was quite a bit more than the previous year so I did what we all do (or should do)
I shopped around and tried my bank Nationwide, they had an offer very similar to what I had paid LV the previous year, I took it and guess what????
I`m still with LV.
Ken.

Few years back my last renewal quote for Admiral was 246 , on a comparison site it was 184.. rang up to ask why the difference, they went throught the quotes and proudly annouced , its your job description. they are different.

One was Data Manager one was Data Administrator.

I asked whats the difference, .... answer was ... duuno??? ..

So i said which is cheapest , .. was the Admin one ..

So I said thats it then .. and got the cheaper price ?

Don't ask
