I've never seen anyone get caught out by a 330d unless the DSC-T is off. Is there something you're not telling us Rich

It's quite easy to lose the back in the wet even with the DCS ON and the car as standard. Remapped (270-280BHP and 600nm) they come become quite a handfull.

The 335D when remapped is now getting 330-340BHP and about 650nm. 0-60 in 5.5 seconds or there abouts and still 38-40MPG if driven with care (18-20mpg if blasting it).

I am getting Ron'ed in the near future - would be rude not too!

With regard to crushing the jacking points, I'm told that the E46 jack or the Mini jack is a perfect fit.

My hubs are fine so far but there doesn't seem to be any pattern in the background to the cars that are affected - e.g. lying for a long time before being delivered (not applicable here I think).

My leap to the dark side:

You dont need to jack the car up on the jacking point you can use any of the cross members underneath the car or on the spiggots of the rear arms.

I remember a M535 I had was a real handful in damp or wet conditions (Getrag box on that thing too!). I haven't driven the new 3's yet but do hope the firm isn't going backwards into their semi-trailing arms days. Pretty unlikely really considering the amount of electronics that now govern the squishy bits.

Even my 525TDS was a bit wild when it was wet. What I liked about that though was if the tail came out, lift off the throttle and back in it came! No problems.

Nice car BTW Rich.
