Default BMW's - Great for rust after 3 months!!!

As you mayu know I moved over to the dark side three months ago. Well the grass is not always greener and BMW have a huge problem at present. Here are a couple of pictures of my wheel area after 3 months old. BMW state that this is not a problem!!! Never had this happen on a Rover / MG............... Dealer attitude is shocking, makes you want to punch them sometimes!!!

No, i don't think it was a member. Never heard anything about it since so i assume he had, like me, no problems with it. Do miss it sometimes!

Nothing new there

BMW have suffered this sort of thing since the 90's

The WORLD has a massive problem with rubbish quality metal at the moment due to China/ Russia forcing the prices lower and lower, and I don't just mean cars, everything from construction to ship building.

I work in the Titanium industry, jet engine manufacturers are absolutely killing us for lower prices as they can get it for a tenth of the price from Russia. But they are on borrowed time because they just can't compete with the quality yet, and the plane makers are willing to take the risk, already certain big name players are having fan disks disintegrate up to now without major loss of life but everybody concerned is waiting for a major disaster, perhaps they will believe then when we say told you so. (google sioux city crashfor what happens when a fan disc fails)

Closer to home look how many rusty cars there are about now, Mercedes for one and Ford Ka's are rarely without a healthy dose of rot (just do a google search for disgruntled owners)

Its surface rust from water that hasn't come off the disc just like the surface rust that appears on the disc when the car has just been washed and left to dry. Nothing to worry about at all. Wipe your discs down in future
