Morning Richard, Brian is more local to you than any of us so do keep trying and give him a call. I will leave that with you.

Good morning all,

Today we are driving to Shipston-On-Stour to spend the weekend with friends. It looks as though it going to be a wet one.

Yesterday was uneventful except for the arrival of a medical bill which took nearly 8 weeks to arrive. On this occasion it was not the fault of Royal Mail, it was down to billing delays from the hospital. On top of that I had to chase them up for the report on the stress echo treadmill test of 5 August as the results are needed by the surgeon and anaesthetist in prep for the op. The verbal results I have had but I want the written report to go to the right people. I don’t think I am asking too much.

What is everyone up to?

Morning Phil,

Sounds like a nice weekend away for you both whatever the weather.

You're certainly not asking too much....I'm sure they might be with the 'bill' though

Today I'm meeting up with other members from our Camera Club for a visit to Highwoods Country Park in Colchester before our season starts 'proper' next Friday.

This afternoon I'll be watching the Dutch Grand Prix qualifying whilst editing up yesterdays photos

Ros has suggested a Chinese takeaway for dinner tonight. It met with my approval

Cool

Morning everyone.

It’s a tad overcast here this morning but it’s still warm. We have a weather warning of thunderstorms.

Gardening duties today.

Morning all.

Bright, sunny and decently warm here .

Girding my loins (Ooh errr misses) to start (note - start) on shifting the coal. Ian - you'd be very welcome, bad back and all. I have visions of you kitted out like Margo in The Good Life when they were getting the potatoes (?) in after the storm - one spud (lump of coal) at a time .

Enjoy whatever you're doing today.

Take care everyone.

LOL that episode was hilarious My missus in her infinite wisdom bought one of those flatpack wheelie bin enclosure kits a couple of weeks ago, It's made of plastic coated steel, I hate flatpack stuff.
It's a three bin enclosure although we've got four wheelie bins, best not to ask

I threw the instructions away & started to make it from the picture but soon realised there isn't enough parts for three bins there's only enough parts for two bins She spoke to a east European lady where we bought it from who said it comes in two packages because of the weight, It arrived five days later, I made a rear section & got fed up so I shoved everything back in the garage as my back is killing me at present.

I'm now all ready for the twenty days of radio therapy for this prostate treatment! my missus said you ain't going in every day wearing those worn out underwear you have Shes bought me twelve pairs of new undies

Evening all, spent the morning at Saunton sands watching the Lundy flyers hot rod club doing some beach racing, lots of lovely toys on show, and some spirited dashes down the beach!
