Had lots of cats and dogs over the years. It's always heartbreaking when they pass on. Keep saying I'm not going to have any more pets because of the heartbreak.
Keep getting them though.

I don't feel quite so bad if they've had a good innings.

Don't laugh but I've got three Mallard ducks and six ring neck doves at the moment . Love 'em to bits.

leopard680: The social forum has been really helpful and amusing; helped get me through some pretty dark times! Many thanks to Mr Two-Diesels, Mr Flyer, Mr Mark D3, Mr Disco-Mikey, Mr Damien P, Mr Heckaslike, Ms Poppy and many others!
Thank you for the mention, Mr Puss, and my apology for the late reply. Been helping my brother over recent weeks (he's had a bit of bother with his hoose ) so my visits to the site have mainly been drop-in-and-peek types due to time and energy constraints. In fact only just read this and looking at the other names on your list I'm not sure that I really deserve to be on it, looks like a rouges gallery, Huh!
