Harry, without being in any way or sense political, it is the rise and rise of the intensely 'liberal' minded busybodies. Anything but liberal in reality.
They are desperate for recognition and fanatically sensitive to those who, by behaving normally, cause to offend just about any shrinking violets who are brave enough to venture into the real world. Won't be long before we have to wear hard hats and wet suits in our coupes. In the case of this OP subject, the mugs were in a cupboard where public are not allowed, and certainly not unattended, and were nothing more than you find in uncensored everyday publications on every newsstand. Compare this debacle to 7 year olds getting sex education! The trouble arises when a subordinate stumbles on anything that just might figure in a performance appraisal on them. Everybody is now running scared of grasses. Who measures the effect of paranoia on job performance?

These politically correct proctologists dreams are, sadly, emboldened by their view that they somehow own the moral high ground.
In another bizarre case an American girl wore a traditional Chinese dress to her Prom. The liberal elite took exception to this because the girl wearing the dress was not Chinese. One pathetic individual posted “My culture is not your god d@mn prom dress” Interestingly the Chinese Government apparently saw the issue and posted that the Chinese people were delighted that this American girl chose something of their culture for such a special occaision. Well done to them and shame on the idiots that believe THEY have rights over other people’s lives. |
