Same thing happened with moto gp the other year. There will soon be nothing worth watching on BBC to make it worth paying the license fee for!
Saying that, I've not really been into f1 for a few years, for me it lost its excitement after senna died, and then hill and Schumacher stopped racing.

yeah, can't watch it because Jason Plato's whining because he isn't winning easily enough annoys me too much

LOL F1 is utter excrement.

Nothing really ever happens, but I watch it with excitement anyway to see the remarkable engineering.

The rest of it or the "racing" (lol) is utter utter dross.

Same with the new tracks.... literally a total snoozefest. Compare the action to actually exciting sport, like 5 day cricket matches, snooker, and womens wheelchair bowls..... and its no comparison :p

Probably not watched it in 10 years, races decided on tyre swapping/fuel strategies isn't really my thing, far too dry. I don't really consider that racing, not sure if viewing figures are on the down for F1?

Pinnacle of motorsport is fuel and tyre saving from lap 1!

Mental.

I love it, an avid follower, but... I won't pay Sky's charges to watch it live. I agree it's a technology sport but it all adds to my interest.

Sky's F1 coverage is superb and puts the BBC to shame. Not surprised they have jacked it in.

You and me together. Sky, Virgin , rip off Britain comes to mind. My wife went to a Christmas Party Saturday night, and was talking about T.V and its robber providers. Told that this particular lady and her Husband pay.........£90.00 a month for it .Must be %#*^=# mad is all I can say
