The written word can have many meanings. Sometimes it’s a judgement call to decide if the writer actually means what he has typed. Unfortunately some threads/post are fuel to keyboard warriors and off they go, knocking hell out of their keyboard in response. Its the ones who reply with their CAPS LOCK ON you need to worry about lol.

Seriously, we are adults, in theory anyway, and should be able to hold a sensible conversation even with differing views without ending up with school playground name calling. When a thread turns into a slanging match it affects everybody. A guitar forum I was in, one idiot started belittling anyone asking a simple question and anyone with a different viewpoint to his was just plain wrong. It started to effect the whole forum until he finally overstepped the mark and was booted out.
