Welsh man walking through a field sees a man drinking water from a pool with his hand.

The Welsh man shouts "Paid a yfed y dwr mae'r gwartheg yn cachi yn y dwr."
(Don't drink the water - it's full of cow sh*t.)

The man shouts back "I'm English! Speak English! I don't understand you."

The Welsh man shouts back "Use both hands - you'll get more in."

Generally just means "thank you" at the end as put.

Diolch yn fawr = Thank you very much.
Da iawn diolch, a chi? = Very well thanks and you?

The amazingly sad thing is ------- I DON'T SPEAK WELSH!
With a name like Agatowski, who can blame me!
However, my mothers maiden name is Lewis and I am as Welsh as I CAN be (given the fact that my dad was Polish!)- AND PROUD OF IT!
By the way - I think we may have beaten Japan!

All wasted I don't konw.
My Mother iwas also Welsh, and my Father at one Time was down the mines here before the war.
I moved out of Wales fairly Young, Lived in Muswell Hill London, Rushden, Northamptonshire and Shirley in Southampton, and of course the US of A before returning to my Homeland for the Last 15 or more years.
