Seriously though, it all depends on what the switch is going to be used for. If it were me, and seeing as how you don't have Cruise Control, I'd be tempted to buy just the CC switch for cheap, and then use it for something else entirely..
Sorry but using the CC switch or the others for that matter isn't that simple as they are not on/off switches. They are push to make, push to break, the switching is done elsewhere.

You would have to construct a small latching circuit to be able to use the switches.

Hey, you asked for a location! Don't get all greedy and expect more than one sensible answer in a 24 hour period!

Honestly, not a clue if it's possible, but I don't see why not.. I've done it on other cars, using OEM switched for a purpose other than they were intended.. Makes for a neat interior..

Aha! Thought that might be too simple.. Shame as it would have been a good possibility. I'm no good at electronics as such, but I know a man who is, .... so will have words

IIRC it applies to them all but I'm sure that someone will tell me if there's one that isn't.

I'm sure somewhere on the forum I read someone has used one but I can't remember what type and what it was used for ?

Sorry, I was right that the cc switch and the others are push switches but wrong about the need for another circuit. O.K. sorted it now you can use the cc switch, the circuit is built in but it turns itself off when you turn off the ignition. You can also use the traction control switch. the only true latching switch is the hazard switch.

Read here:http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...+switch&page=2

Again sorry for Any confusion but as with most things on our cars they aren't straightforward.

The hazard switch and central locking switch will both fit the centre console panel.....

just remember that the two locks and the triangle on the switches are not level, as they are skewed in the centre console
