The revs will drop as you turn the wheel anyway, due to the engine coming under extra load from the PS pump.

could be a dirty ide air control valve
how to clean it here .

The sensor is mounted on the end off the fuel rail at the battery end, access it by removing the engine cover.I sprayed the sensor and the plug with contact cleaner and also used a small needle file to clean the connector pins.I was amazed at the difference it made as it must have been like it for a long while.

Mine pulsates at idle and also jerks in 1st and 2nd

gears when I am trying to coast in traffic jams .
