Default MOT passed today

She went in for her MOT today to my local garage, I also got an oil & filter change, it has only done 4000 miles since a full service last year so I figured other disposables are not needed. The reported a rear N/S brake pipe had corroded so they did that & it passed ..... even though I had fitted & EGR bypass three years ago.

As the young apprentice was lowering it on the ramp he managed (not sure how) to scrape the back bumper down the wall, so its off to the body shop on Friday at the garages expense, and I spent a lot of time last week polishing out all the minor scratches & bringing it back to pristine condition. Hey ho!

I have done a lot of cosmetic work, including realigning the wonky front end, as I had intended to sell it, I love the car but looking around the internet I realised that it is worth nothing, no more than a grand probably as its a classic CDTI & no-one seems to want big diesels. Anyway I've changed my mind, keep it another year at least and continue to enjoy the laid back, comfortable Rover driving experience
