Harry Redknapp is managing a team of retired pro footballers all in their 50s, they think its just a fitness thing but there's a game against a similar German team lined up.

The levels of fitness, or lack of it, varies wildly. He'd arranged a game against a local youth team, Redknapp is on the touchline watching the game when he commented "Jesus, I'm going to have to bring Razor (Ruddock) off or he's gonna have a heart attack!" It was so bad he ended the game early

I saw the trailers for that, meant to watch it then forgot it was on!!!

Good morning all, what’s everyone up to?

A busy day yesterday, tiring in the heat. We took 2 of our oldest dogs to the vets, one is 16 and the other is 15, for their Rabies shots and vaccination books, the 16 year old has arthritis and a problem walking, her heart is enlarged. She is not in any pain and is having treatment for 10 days. The other has fleas and ticks. She is having treatment, injections and a daily medicated shampoo.

The cows are doing well, we had a new calf born and the bull, a happy chap, made another one pregnant.

Then I had to go to the driving licence office for a new smart uk style license with a chip. Part of the application process involves having a photo and fingerprints taken. I was asked if I had paid any bribes, was I a Muslim or a Christian? I gave them simple answers. They said come back next week to collect the new license.

It’s hot all week and we are desperate for rain. The north of the country is in drought and famine.

Good morning Bob, a bungalow with a triple garage, parking for 5 cars, double glazing, central heating, a conservatory, a nice patio, ready to move in, the price is right and compliant neighbours- not too much to ask for have a fantastic time.

Morning Andy, Phil and Bob - it's nice to be sat here with the sun streaming in through the windows. I doubt we'll get anywhere near the temperature in Nairobi, but it's great to feel a bit of warm sun on your joints after what seems like weeks of bitterly cold winds.
In fact. it's so pleasant out there I may do something energetic in the sun - open the garage door perhaps?
- that shouldn't tire me too much

Be careful Rod, break yourself in at a steady pace. Kettle on first for a cuppa, and maybe a biscuit. Best make a plan first.

The more difficult the task, the more biscuits required.

I like your thinking Andy. Shame the same can’t be said about the weather here on Tyneside. It was a tad less cold this morning, and we had bright sun for a very brief period, now it’s dull cold and drizzly again.
Never mind, I’m finished now, and have worked it so I get a half day off tomorrow, and only half a dozen jobs on Friday. Saturday I have to take the van for MOT, and I think it will fail, possibly drop links, possibly emissions. After that I will be out delivering flyers for my business, then might have to clean the car seats for a mate at work, then off to the town in afternoon to collect daughter from the station for her Easter break from uni.
Just as well Im having a half day tomorrow.
