The In Car Safety Centre is a wealth of info.
I bought my daughters last two special needs car seats from them. Halfords don’t fit seats either, they only offer a demonstration to show customers how it fits, they then remove it and get the customer to install it. The onus is on the parents or careers to be competent enough to follow the basic instructions and ensure it’s secure. Mother are won’t be around for much longer so you may pick up a clearance bargain Last edited by Canonite; 18th March 2019 at 21:55.. |

To be honest it is my intention to fit a rear facing seat, that's what is in the car in America so I will go with the same setup, I also didn't realise you could still get the seats that were restrained by the adult seatbelt, so that's an option.

My wife and I are expecting twins in August and have just bought car seats. We went for a model that sits on a base that can be fixed in place using isofix or held in by a belt, meaning it can be fitted to my ZTT. Cost about £300 per seat with base, though.
