The MG has a front one as does my ranger... but this is another eye opener to push me onto getting a rear facing one as well.
you can buy a front facing one with a rear camera in the same unit that just looks back out of the window...

And if you hear the 'action' but cannot see it due to the blind spots, you can watch it back later Lol

The r plate on the screen means he is a novice driver (displayed for at least 1 year after passing test) and is restricted to 45 mph as a maximum speed.

That makes two of us. Well worth the expense, and forethought. Was nearly useful tonight when going round the island by us. I was on the inside lane of 4 lanes because I was going to turn right, woman in the third lane from middle of island decided to cut across into the second lane plus part of mine. Gent in car behind me in the second lane had to take evasive action, and she nearly hit us both. Never even looked. Sorry to say, but she was doing what most women do, drive straight across islands not round them.

The novice driver appeared not to bother doing much braking - asleep/on the phone, or just caught in the headlight like a rabbit. His/her spacing from the car ahead gave them plenty of time to react. There were no on the road distractions, no fast braking of the car ahead.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.
