Default Tam Leek Meet 25th November

Hi All.

The next Tam Leek meet with be the 25th November at The Hawes Inn at South Queensferry.

Dinner will be 7.30 pm as usual.

Now one more thing.....Xmas Dinner. I was looking at dates and was thinking December 16th at The Hawes Inn ???

Suggestions welcome.

Please be aware this is not an official 75 & ZT Owners Club meet and as such is not covered by the Club’s public liability insurance. Also the Owners Club take no responsibility for the meet/event in any way.

Think La Barca may be a bit expensive for Christmas meal? Had a look at their reviews and not all good either.

As Christmas is about chatting etc more than food I would be happy enough at Hawes. Although not always great it usually is good and lends itself for sitting and chatting for an hour or so before eating.

What anyone else thinking.

Fair enough .

We will go with the flow for xmas .

We should however consider a visit next year to at least check it out .

Good views of the bridges it seems .

I must say no Helga at the Hawes is making a huge difference.

I've been to La Barca once before and really enjoyed it. Great service also and food was very good and quick. According to tripadvisor, it is rated 4*/5 compared to the Hawes Inn 3.5*/5. The Hawes Inn for me has now gone downhill. Food is good but service is not...For me, their both equally as important.
