MG Motors - Glasgow
I sent a wee email to MG the other day asking if there were any plans for a dealer in the Glasgow area, currently the only dealer in Scotland is in Stirling.
Got this reply which looks promising Dear Sir We have a number of strong ongoing conversations in this area and are confident of something coming to fruition late quarter 1 / quarter 2 2014 Regards |

Nice to know, I hope they manage to get a few more around Scotland to broaden the scope.

I used to work for a garage who were considering becoming an MG dealer, sadly they opted against it because they only had the MG6 at the time and it only had the 1.8T. Kind of one trick ponies so they decided to not bother. Can't help but think it they had they might still be in business lol. But that's not for me to say!

There's a lot going on at Arnold Clark at the moment, Renault at East lane in Paisley will close this year, the VW, Mini Centre, and Renault all around the Pollockshaws area are getting a re shuffle when the big showroom opens at Makro, I believe some HO operations are moving there too, whether that means Arnold will take MG is anyones guess. Morrisons in Stirling seem a good dealer, saw the MG3 last week, nice in yellow!
Edit! So Pheonix have got MG? I'll get a look when out at their pressure washer next time.

Wouldn't surprise me if Arnold Clark did take on MG as well. They used to be a Rover dealer so would be good. Bad for after sales and stuff mind you but would be a boost to MG
