I could clearly see the numbers without zoom, there is a blob of solder between 7 and 8, but they are lower right corner of the plug - pins nearest the camera on the right.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

They are in the upper right corner of the block...

No, sorry - having zoomed in and looked very closely, it is still bottom right corner, nearest pair of pins to the camera position...

Pin 7 with a wire going to it, pin 8 joined to 7 with a blob of solder.

Anyone able to adjudicate please?

I`m wondering if all of us are watching the same image and speaking the same language
Google translate gave me - pedantic, punctilious, starchy, precise, bookish, punctual

On the block, viewed longitudinally, as the connector would be correctly positioned, the pins 7 and 8 are top right.
On the digital photographic image embedded in the web page, with said image skewed at an approximate 80 degree angle, the pins are bottom right.
So you are both right.
And both wrong.
Now what is the connector for again?

I call that bottom right of the photo

The photo is what we are all looking at, it is anyone's guess of which way might be up for the plug.
