views on Longlife SS exhaust please
Following clarification on the decat legal issue I am going to get a SS system on the Connie Tourer CDTi.
I have a Longlife depot quite close and they seem helpful but also wondered what people thought. Spoke to Wyn (Eurorover) today and he will be suggesting a company a bit further afield but still wanted to get a view as I like to do things as local as possible........ |

I've not heard a bad word about Longlife and I will certainly be using them myself when the time comes.Quite a few members on here have one of their systems so I'm sure they will be along shortly to recommend them.

Replied on your earlier post-if the fitters good I don't think you will get any better quality materials elsewhere. the good thing is it's made to measure

I used longlife and they did a fantastic job, took it into my local MG guy for a service and he was saying how solid the exhaust was.

I also got a Longlife cat-back done at a local place. I didn't book it in via the website though, I went to see the guys themselves and got a much better deal in person.

I have had 3 exhausts from longlife (3 different cars) all fitted in Cardiff and I would never get an exhaust from anyone else. They can obviously style the back box and sound requirements but its the quality of fitment that impressed!

I got a longlife exhaust fitted 60k miles ago. It has been great. Would definitely use them again. A good tip is to get a quote via email and if you don't get it fitted, they send you a special offer a month later with a 10% discount. It worked for me. I think it was about 295 with a life time warranty.

How are these Longlife exhausts for noise? Just wondering as some stainless steel exhausts are made from thinner gauge metal and so are louder, which I wouldn't want.
Just wondering as I will probably need a new exhaust next year. |
