My Monogram Lagoon came off the production line on 11th March '03, but wasn't registered 'till 30th May '03, so a couple of months hanging around for some reason .

Perhaps the first owner was not the person who ordered it? Or had to save up a bit more 'cos he hadn't realised that Monogram paint was extra? Monograms should all have been registered shortly after coming off the production line, the clue is in "made to order". I wonder how long the order to delivery time was? I'll bet he just kept going out and looking at it, and sitting in it, when it arrived! I wonder if, statistically, Monograms have outlasted standard colours?

My 75 was built Jan 2000 not registered until January 2002!. It was built as one of 15 which went out to the Netherlands as a showroom car. Somehow found its self back here in 2002 and registered as new

Would be nice to know. I've often thought about trying to get hold of the previous owner to get some of the undocumented history from them. They'd probably think I was some kind of nutter though .

There were 6 Rover 75 saloons produced in Lagoon, and 3 of them are in the hands of club members, so that's at least a 50% survival rate. Not sure how that compares with '75 saloons as a whole.

Ordered mine on 4th May 2002, came off the line on the 29th May and registered it two weeks later on delivery. I suspect a lot of cars were batch orders for dealerships and sat around in their showrooms or held at the factory pending sales which I understand were pretty slow.
