Default What oil filter for 2.5

Going to order some bits for my 2002 2.5 but it lists 3 different ones,also how much oil do I need

Genuine part # LPW100161, ~5.5l of oil 10w40

The three option are simply brand differences. The filters are identical and they'll all fit your engine. https://www.eurocarparts.com/oil-filter

Select your choice of brand or price, they'll each do the job.

The specified quality is semi-synthetic 10w-40 viscosity. Again you'll get lots of options. If you want the feel-good factor, pick a fully synthetic 10w-40 if you can find one. Read the Specifications given on the webpage. They're much more expensive. I think most are 5W-40, but that's OK. Choose on brand or price, they'll all do a good job.



The specified engine capacity is 5.2 litres, but you'll not get that much back in. Some old oil stays behind every time. Refill with around 4 litres then carefully top up in portions, allowing it time to drain down and use the dipstick each time until it reads on the Max mark.
