Default scrapping.... what to keep?

I have cdti tourer that failed mot and was waiting for me to decide what to do. A need for a new works van has seen me visit ford, and they are offering an obscene amount for scrappage, with no similar deal for cash.
It seems likely I can trailer it in there, so is there anything I should be taking off thats either hard to come by now, or worthy of resale? thinking small'ish parts rather than engines etc!

Nothing, just get along to your Ford dealer, and pick up that nice shiny new transit

Anything you take off will simply be clutter in your new lifestyle and should be avoided at all cost

The rear light units, particularly if the fixings somehow remain intact. In which case if you’re selling can I have first refusal?!
And the load cover. Easily detached anyway!

if your are going to sell then FBH if it has one, headlights if a MK2, walnut steering wheel if one is fitted.
i'd be interested in the tool tray by spare wheel if it is a 3 or 4 part unit.
seal around rear hatch, seal around rear window. the list is long but what can you get away with keeping.

what did it fail the mot on and how much are they offering?

Bits that won't be noticed, cd multi changer, drivers cup holder, carpet matts, headrest, towbar? boot rubber matt, rear wiper motor, battery cover undertray.
quite a lot or not a lot depending on your storage space.

If you're removing bits, I'd be interested in getting the driver's door seal (the one on the body) if its in good shape as well as the front cup holder (again if working!)

Of course, I'm also making the assumption that the saloon and tourer front door seals are the same...
