How easy to swap out dash?

Thinking of swapping out my real walnut for the light oak on my Mk2. The steering wheel on the Mk2 is tatty too and doesn't have cruise, so will be removing that too. Easy job? Car will be scrapped next week but too many 'nice bits' to be left on.

Very easy!

Swapped mine recently. I just didn't like the light oak. THe steering wheel was actually much easier than expected.

Looked at the how to, and decided not to bother. Too old for it now, just want to drive 'em really. I'll give everyone the heads up and scrappy address for nice bits, doors etc.

Not changed steering wheel yet,but recently changed dash to walnut. Found that it was simple,the only fiddly bit was getting the cable off thumbwheel.
Age 72 and 3/4.
