The buttons on both my keys have worn out. One key is missing the Unlock button altogether (fell onto road and couldn't be found). Buttons cracked and failing on other key too.

Need replacement bodies and some new buttons.

What's best thing to do?
I can refurbish your keys without fuss, drop me a PM if you need to know more

Hi Brian, can the transponder be placed into a new casing, by lifting it out of the old one, and similarly can the blade be placed in the other half, or does all this need some kind of gluing or reprogramming.?

Yes, the transponder and key remote and blade can be swapped from a worn out casing into a new one, meaning no reprogramming
However the type of key shells you find on eBay tend to be poorly made, and the transponder can fall out/PCB not fit/keyblade not fit etc etc etc.

I have a limited supply of genuine Valeo cases which I tend to use for new key supply, or I have good quality aftermarket cases which I use for refurbish, but neither of these are cheap eBay tat.

Mine's the same as the OP's - the buttons/plungers have broken off the other half of the fob (mainly because it's a rubbish design to start with).

They pull out with a bit of wiggling, side to side that's the blade, not yourself or, some have a little pin through which needs tapping out

I can recommend Big Russ. When I got ny first 75 nearly 3 years back he sorted me a second key including getting it to 'talk' to all the security isssues on the car. Also ran a T4 check on it to find all its other faults. Spent quite a long time on it. Thanks Russ.
