9 dead 16 injured, obviously terrorist related, witnesses say the driver mounted the pavement and drove at 70/80mph , hitting people and sending them flying.

Very sad, and surprising how the driver manager to drive the van away and has been arrested several streets away, still with the van.

It appears that it's not terror related the police have reported. From the videos it seems the driver has mental health problems, a failed 'suicide by cop'.

I suspect we all went “Oh no - not again”. But it does seem to be a bizarre mental health issue .....

.... which as I write that I’m thinking that anyone that does this must have bizarre mental issue - labelling it “terrorist” is hardly any sort of justification.

But have to say I felt the Policeman who made the arrest showed remarkable professionalism - and a huge amount of self control.
