Exclamation abs problem

hi guys, i have a problem with my abs i hope someone can help me with that has got my garage a bit stumped. the problem is with the front offside wheel, and i am getting a small brrrrp from the abs on that one wheel just as the car is rolling to a stop. my garage says it is because the abs ring is being read at a different rate on that one wheel compared to the other front wheel. is this going to mean an new abs controller or is there a simpler explaination?
