As far as people buying lots of stuff at the moment. Don't forget that some people will be buying for vulnerable people who can'y get out right now

My shops were ok when I last went last Saturday. Only toilet roll missing.
I'm now staying in, and will get my old shift mates to get me stuff I run out of.

It was really upsetting.
One of the girls at work was telling me that she was unable to get formula for her baby ( and before anyone goes on about feeding the baby herself there are health complications). Seemingly people have been buying baby milk to use in tea and coffee as it will last longer - if ever there was a sad reflection on our society that's it.
Literally taking form babies to look after themselves.
Disgusting behaviour

Hi,
Coconut milk is one suggestion for alternatives to baby formula.
Google Alternatives to baby formula, and there may be more ideas in the results

I will pass it on.
Fact remains though that those so desperate for a cuppa could use coconut milk and thereby not risk a child's wellbeing.

Because the so called creamer in the machine at work was so disgusting, I just had black tea and sugar, quite acceptable.

The country has gone mad.
I’ve just been to 3 supermarkets to get what we need for tonight’s dinner and for our bunnies. No bread, milk, rice, pasta, loo roll, spaghetti etc.
I’d honestly hate to see the place in a real emergency situation.
Took my daughter 3 goes before getting her baby formula for our granddaughter so get your colleague to keep trying especially early in the morning.
I noticed Kilmarnock Asda will now close at 10pm - 6am instead of being 24hrs.

A work colleague of my wife asked a guy why he was buying 19 loaves and he said he didn’t want to be left without and was on his way to buy a chest fridge freezer to put them in.

Wonder how other countries behave during this? I bet it’s not the same as the uk.

Exactly, if there’s no milk drink it black, if there’s no food you like, eat stuff you don’t like.

It’s better than going without.

People have been pampered, and don’t like the thought of not having what they are used to.

cheaper to buy a bread maker and ingredients and make your own even if it is not as nice.

There's no flour around here to make bread lol! I wanted to make pancakes the other day but nope...that shelf was empty too. Its not just the UK. John Barrowman posted on FB his parents are isolating and he went to the supermarket in the US. Empty shelves just like here. He posted a pic!

I have discovered M&S and Co op are coping better than Aldi, Lidl, Morrisons and Tesco and you can still find enough stuff there to throw a meal together!

I am over 70, with only one blood relative (sister aged 60 who lives 65 miles away), and whilst I have many friends, they are all over 70 as well. I have managed to stock enough food to keep me going, but where on earth do I store 14 weeks worth of Carling!

P.S. Don't break into my summerhouse!
