Default engine missing cdt i

Hi...diesel cdt i with 75 k....runs well on main roads with excellent economy (50mpg)... but around town it develops a miss with just a flicker on the tacho..and some hesitancy when pulling away in the gears..(dont think its turbo lag)...on the open road it just go's away???...Could this be a faulty injector?? and would some injector cleaner in the fuel help??...thanks

More likely to be a maf issue. Try disconnecting it for a few days.

However it is worth putting in some injector cleaner and avoiding supermarket fuel. Millers Ecomax is the best and available fromHalfords as one-shot dose or 500ml (approx 10 tank fill ups) bottle.

I recommend this also mine had a "missfire" when cold and i used millers but doubled the quantity of how much i put in car runs very smooth again now took about 5 tanks to completely clear it
