Default centre console

I may need to remove my carpet and i wonder has anyone done this and if so what are the pitfalls ? ie how differcult is it to remove the centre console ?

Morning Keith,

I don't think it would be hard but a lot of work as i think you would have to remove the stereo, A/C controls and everything else in there

someone will be along soon after they have had there morning medicine and allowed out in to the day room

So tell why you removing the carpet ?

I replaced my centre console, youre meant to remove the front seats as detailed in RAVE but you can move the seats back to their limit and remove the side screws with an angled bit, It's a bit tights removing it between the seats but can be done. Take your time and all will be OK

i plan on replacing my interior from velour to leather memory so i canforsee no wiring loom present so i'm hoping to use the one fitted from the donor car , i really should buy a Haynes manual i know but this is such a great site for having quick responses. Thanks

Haynes Manuals are still discounted if you phone Haynes direct, for members of this club and a very speedy service.
