Default More about Jerky running

Hi everyone, Chris from Fareham has suggested that my 'Jerky' running maybe because my Cat Converter is breaking up and inhibiting the exhaust. The rough running is sometimes minor and mostly stops when car warmed up and sometimes it's quite bad. Any ideas. I have changed, Plugs, Coils, MAP Sensor, Filters and Boost Solenoid. Regards Ken

Check for inlet air leaks,(manifold gasket?) and vacuum hoses.

Have you checked that the hoses leading to the turbo from the pierburg boost valve are not loose at the turbo -if they are it leads to lumpy running.

Hi, Thank you both for suggestions, much appreciated. Funny thing is the 'Jerky running' has stopped on it's own. Very pleased but have no idea why. Regards Ken
