Found dead at his home in Spain. Thought to have suffered a heart attack. Aged 76.

Freddie could certainly sing and sometimes, as Des O'Connor might say, he did so the right way and not his way lol. I thought he was quite good with Elvis's backing group, The Jordanaires, when he sang with them on his show:

I remember going to watch him live when he did the summer season at Great Yarmouth. Never laughed so much.

Was a brilliant show, a brilliantly funny & talented man. RIP

I remember going to see one of his live shows and never laughed so much
In my life , and his impersonations of the greats was electric .


He will be missed

He always made me laugh, he was such a funny guy. My father and I met him a few times at race meetings, he owned a few racehorses back in the day.

You only had to look at the him and you would be smiling from ear to ear, such a nice fella to talk too, quite hard to tell when he was fooling about as you didn't know when he was being serious or not.
