Sad F1 News - Charlie Whiting has Passed Away

Was quite shocked to read about Charlie Whiting passing away suddenly. The man was always 'called' upon during a race when the drivers would sometimes (in my view) 'whinge' about others. 'Charlie are you watching this.....' etc

That is a loss, Formula One will definitely not be the same without his presence.

What a shock to hear this. Had the pleasure of meeting him at a charity function I attended a few years ago.
