Default Rare Estate Cars

Just had a quick look at this. I've never heard of most of them probably because I think they are all older than me!

https://www.msn.com/en-gb/cars/news/...tanntp#image=1

Anyone ever owned or driven any?

I also spotted a Rover 3500 V8 last night on TV, Deutschland 86, being driven by the East German Stasi in South Africa, how often did that happen in real life?

I have seen most of them apart from the high end stuff.

The P6 estates were notorious for rust!!

That Mercedes one was also made as a four door (crew cad style) pick up.

The Rolls Royce would have to be my choice. It doesn’t look so out of place with the styling.

I wonder how the V8 ZTT's and 75's compare with the others on numbers?

Cool

The Rolls Royce conversion was carried out by Redford. I have a model of the Bentley conversion.

I like that Corsair GT, works really well. But it's a rare old Ford so probably worth six figures!

Yes, due to the drainage channels being blocked by the estate section, which itself was normally riveted into place.

Being brought up only about 8 miles from the old Ford Dagenham plant, I can certainly remember seeing Corsair estates.

I even remember seeing GT version that had been fitted with a Lotus Cortina engine.
