Default Spring is just around the corner

I know that some of you lovely folk further up country don't get the mild winters that us softies down here on the south coast are lucky enough to have, but to show that spring is just around the corner here's a photo that i snapped today on my way to the village bus stop.

Cheers Ian

I can't wait for the warmer weather, hate the cold, 10'C is still chilly for me.

Yes nice to have a sense of humour but seriously we are having very unseasonal like weather up here in South West Scotland.
I’ve already scarified my lawns and tidied up the borders and yesterday I cleaned out the fish ponds, a job I normally do around April.
I got my January garden bin collected on Friday and already I’ve got February and March’s bins full. Council will only collect one bin per month.

It’s not going to last though as there is colder weather coming but I’m not worried as I have a backlog of inside work to keep me busy after being out of action for two months.

Ours are just coming up but nowhere near flowering. Lots of snowdrops in the hedgerows tho’.

Not long till end of March when the clocks change - at least that is what I keep saying to myself!!

Not keen on the cold either.

Was 10 degrees C here too but the sun was shining.

Jumped on my motorbike and went for 30 mile round trip. Came back cold but happy.---
